Sometimes you just have one of those days where you forget to bring enough snacks for the day or something comes up where you’re stuck with no options except vending machines. Luckily, we don’t have FEBO in North America and many vending companies have added healthier options to vending machines in response to consumers’ demands.
Here are some top choices when you’re down at the vending machine:
•Baked Chips or Sunchips — these are lower in fat than regular chips, which are fried
•Granola bars — try to choose ones with less sugar
•Mixed nuts or seeds — try to choose ones that don’t have added salt
•Pretzels — preferably unsalted or whole grain
•Tuna-and-crackers packs — these are great grab-and-go snacks with the protein content you’ll need to carry your through
•Plain popcorn — avoid flavoured ones for a lower sodium content
Don’t forget about healthy vending machine drinks such as water, milk, and low-sodium 100% vegetable juice.
